Holistic Web Design for Practitioners, Centres & Spiritual Projects
Olistica Web Agency designs and builds distinctive websites for holistic practitioners, wellness centres, schools and spiritual projects. Based in Milan, we work with clients in Italy and internationally.
Whether you are creating your first website or have outgrown the one you have, we begin with what it should make possible. A yoga teacher, a retreat centre and a musician working with mantra may belong to related worlds, but each needs to be understood differently. We bring information, visual direction and technology together to create a website with a character of its own and a clear purpose for the people who visit it.

Web design for work built on trust
Someone considering a treatment, a course or a retreat wants to know more than a list of services: who they will meet, what to expect and whether the approach feels right. A website can answer those questions through words, images and practical information, without turning a personal practice into a generic sales pitch.
At Olistica, direct experience of yoga and meditation complements our work in web design and photography. It helps us pay attention to details a standard brief might overlook: the difference between a first session and an extended course, how a retreat programme is presented, or how a teacher’s voice comes through in their writing.
We work with individual practitioners, bodyworkers, yoga and meditation teachers, holistic counsellors, wellness centres, schools and spiritual organisations. The common need is to present the work faithfully and give people a clear, respectful way to respond.
Start with the work your website needs to do
Before choosing pages or a platform, we look at what your visitors need to understand and do. We consider your existing content, the questions people bring and the practical steps they may need to take — from booking a session to finding an event or exploring years of teaching.
Those priorities guide the structure, design and technical decisions. We do not begin with a ready-made format and ask you to fit your work into it.
What we design and build
A few carefully structured pages may be enough for a personal practice. A school or centre may need programmes, people, events and resources to work together. We agree the scope around the project rather than a fixed package.
Structure, content and visual direction
We plan the information hierarchy and navigation, organise the materials you provide and identify gaps to resolve together. We then develop a visual direction that takes account of your existing brand identity and imagery where appropriate. A new website does not have to mean replacing the identity you already have.
Development, search foundations and testing
We build responsive layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop. Technical and structural SEO form part of sound web implementation: clear headings and URLs, page titles and descriptions, internal navigation and appropriate indexability settings. Before delivery, we check the agreed pages and functions on relevant devices, with reasonable attention to loading performance and accessibility.
Substantial copywriting from scratch, a new brand identity, original photography or video, and a dedicated SEO strategy are separate services. When useful, these can be included in an individually agreed scope.
Bookings, payments and connected services
Depending on your project, the website may need appointment booking, online payments, product or course sales, event registration, members’ areas or newsletters. We choose and integrate these functions around how you work, considering maintenance needs and making any third-party or recurring costs clear in the proposal. We can also build multilingual websites when your project needs to reach people in different languages.

A digital presence with a character of its own
A photograph can convey the atmosphere of a place before a visitor reads a description. Typography can change how a teacher’s writing is experienced. Composition, contrast, space and rhythm can give a website a recognisable voice. These are decisions about meaning, not decoration added at the end.
Some projects call for restraint and quiet simplicity. Others need expressive imagery, colour, movement or a less expected composition. We design for the person or organisation behind the site rather than applying a predetermined idea of what a holistic website should look like.
The result should have a presence of its own and remain clear to use. Visual quality and practical navigation are not competing priorities: each should support the other.
Selected web projects
Different practices need different kinds of digital presence. These two projects show how attention to identity, structure and useful functions can take distinct forms.

Io Sono Rirri
From a self-service website to a professional digital presence.
Rirri teaches Kundalini Yoga, meditation and breathwork. When her earlier self-service website no longer represented her work adequately, Olistica built a new WordPress website from scratch. We shaped the website’s art direction using her existing brand materials and organised individual sessions, courses, challenges and events into a clearer structure.
At her request, the website also integrated online booking and payments, giving people practical ways to take part in her activities.
Vedant Anando
Connecting music, events and participation.
Vedant Anando’s work brings together mantra singing, meditation, music releases and events. Olistica Web Agency designed and built the entire website, including its visual design, photography, page structure and technical implementation. The site connects music releases, event information and reservations, music sales and downloads, and newsletter communication.
Olistica also produced graphic material for selected album covers. Anando supplied some written content and supporting images, and reviewed and approved the work. The website’s design, photography and technical execution were Olistica’s.

How we work together
You know your work and the people you serve. We contribute web design, visual and technical expertise, and take an active role in bringing the parts of the project together. The direction is decided with you.
From first conversation to a clear proposal
You can start by email or message, with a call whenever it is useful. Our first conversation is free. We discuss your situation, priorities, existing material and resources. When a project calls for deeper analysis, we may propose a separate, paid discovery stage.
Before development begins, the written proposal sets out the work, responsibilities, expected timing and investment, as well as any third-party or recurring costs.
Development, review and a useful handover
We share important design and structural decisions as the project develops, review them with you and check the agreed functions and content. You remain involved, while Olistica takes responsibility for recommending solutions and connecting the different parts of the work.
At handover, we clarify how the website and connected accounts are controlled, favouring client-owned accounts and delegated agency access where platforms allow. We show you how to manage the everyday parts of your website that it makes sense to handle yourself, and explain where professional support remains useful. A continuing relationship should be a choice based on value, not a technical dependency.
Questions before you begin
What do you mean by holistic web design?
Here, holistic web design means website design for people and organisations working in yoga, natural wellbeing, bodywork, meditation and spiritual practice. You may also see the phrase holistic website design. It describes the field we serve, not one particular aesthetic.
Do you work with clients outside Italy?
Yes. Olistica is based in Milan and works with clients in Italy and internationally. We can communicate and review projects by email, message and video call.
How much does a website cost?
The work required for a small practitioner site differs from a centre’s website with courses, bookings or member access. Cost depends on the scope, available content, design requirements and integrations. We first discuss what the project needs, then provide a written proposal explaining what is included and what is separate. Where appropriate, a project can be divided into stages.
How long does a website take to build?
Timing depends on the complexity of the site, the availability of text and images, any additional functions and how quickly feedback and approvals can be exchanged. We agree on a realistic schedule and its dependencies in the proposal rather than promising the same delivery time for every project.
Which platform do you use?
The two projects shown here use WordPress. Depending on the project, we may also consider Squarespace or other platforms. We choose the technology according to the website’s needs, its maintenance and what you want to manage yourself.
Tell us about your project
You do not need a finished technical brief to begin. Tell us about your practice, centre or organisation, the people you hope to reach and what your website is missing — or what you are ready to create. We can discuss whether Olistica is the right fit and what a sensible next step might be.
